In September of 2003, Great Collections began development of a coffee table quality book to present the lives of the founding fathers of the United States, and the beliefs that lead them to form our nation. The book will be a collaborative effort of photography and written text to document the lives of these people, and to present them as honestly as possible, giving certain detail of their lives which will give best understanding of their character and passions. The story focus will be how Almighty God influenced and directed the founders of our nation, and the importance of His Word continuing to be before us today in our nation's great monuments.

The book is to be aesthetically appealing in design and photography, and have an overwhelming patriotic theme, so that families will want to have it on their coffee tables. It is to be designed as to appeal to a secular audience, though it certainly will easily crossover into the Christian market.

The photography will highlight the writings, homes, and great halls where these individuals, and their families walked and lived. And it will speak of the high cost of their pursuit of freedom for our people.

The pages you see are preliminary designs of the book.

Worthy of Honor is dedicated to the rich heritage of our nation. No other nation on earth has struggled and fought so many costly battles in the effort to secure, and then to insure freedom for her people. As one reads biographies of men like George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and so forth, you cannot ignore the great concerns the founders had for our nation's future and the misuse of freedom and liberty. Most of these founders realized, and wrote extensively that our republic, and it's government cannot stand unless our people are moral, just, and God-fearing, that respect law, and the rights of others.

In many ways, these traits have been grossly undermined by prosperity, and self-indulgence. But there is also a great lack of knowledge of these issues as represented by polls, and books like The Day America Told the Truth. It is a timely and necessary book for the people of our nation to see where we have come from, and what our purpose is.

The book will show the homes, writings, and monuments of these people. And most vital, it will speak to the importance of a morality, justice and respect for law, and religion and the rights of others, to our nation today. It will feature actual writings of these founders, and anecdotes of their lives that illustrate these points. And the book will be richly designed and photographed.

The book has been in development since September 2003, and a great deal of photography has already been produced. We have been working since January 2004 to secure a very well known, and respected individual to author this. Additionally, investors are needed. One scouting and photographic expedition has been completed, and there are plans for another one this coming fall.
